Vietnam Unveils Its First Domestically Designed Security Chip

On 4 November, Vietnam unveiled VGC v1.0, its first domestically designed security chip, developed by the Government Cipher Committee and Viettel. Testing indicated encryption and decryption speeds around 15 times faster than a purely software-based solution performing the same tasks.
